Cherry Clafoutis


INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup flour
  • 100 gr castor sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 500 gr pitted cherries, drained
  • Icing sugar (for dusting)

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Preheat oven to 170°C.
Step 2. Slightly grease a baking dish.
Step 3. Whisk eggs and sugar until the sugar is dissolved, add sifted flour and vanilla
paste.
Step 4. Mix until smooth. Incorporate milk slowly avoiding lumps to form.
Step 5. Pour the custard into the baking dish and arrange cherries on top.
Step 6. Bake the clafoutis for 25 minutes or until set. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
